ABOUT
THE
COMMITTEE
CBSE, formally known as the Central Board of Secondary Education, is a premier national-level board of education in India, responsible for regulating and supervising academic policies for schools across the country. The committee focuses on reviewing provisions for students preparing for competitive examinations, with special emphasis on the regulation and ban of dummy schooling practices. The Central Board of Secondary Education is where the voice of the student body finds its strength and purpose.
The committee will primarily explore mechanisms for ensuring equal opportunities and support for all students, especially those facing socio-economic or regional disadvantages.
This entails discussions on accessible study materials, support systems for remote or disadvantaged students, and accommodations for students with disabilities.
Central to the discussions will also be the exploration of strategies to alleviate the burdens and anxieties faced by students during the preparation and execution of these high-stakes exams. This includes initiatives to promote mental health support, alleviate financial constraints through fee waivers or scholarships, and enhance transparency in the evaluation process to mitigate undue stress.
Furthermore, in recognition of the evolving educational landscape and technological advancements, the committee will deliberate on the integration of innovative assessment methods and adaptive technologies to ensure the relevance and efficacy of these exams in evaluating students' aptitudes and competencies.
Through collaborative dialogue and innovative solutions, we aim to foster a committee environment where the principles of inclusivity, equity, and student welfare guide our deliberations towards constructive reforms in provisions for students giving any competitive examinations.
