The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) stands as the governing body for football in Europe, overseeing and regulating the sport across the continent. Established in 1954, UEFA's primary mission is to promote and develop football at all levels, from grassroots to professional leagues, while upholding the values of fair play, integrity, and inclusivity. Comprising 55 member associations, UEFA organizes prestigious club competitions such as the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, as well as national team tournaments like the UEFA European Championship (Euro) and the UEFA Nations League.

With a steadfast commitment to advancing the sport's growth and popularity, UEFA implements initiatives to foster youth development, enhance coaching standards, and ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of European football. Moreover, UEFA plays a pivotal role in shaping the governance and administration of football, advocating for ethical conduct, transparency, and good governance practices within its member associations and affiliated organizations.
